RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

INFORMATION

Relationship Managers serve as an important link between our company and its clients. This is to ensure excellent customer service and client satisfaction. They also manage client relationships and deliver proposals.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Relationship Managers maintain and develop client relationships. The work of a Relationship Manager can help make the public more aware of our business and bring in revenue. Relationship Managers must have a strong understanding of our company’s products and services, also knowledge of the financial sector. They must be ready to develop creative solutions for existing clients, as well as pursue new client opportunities.

DUTIES

The main purpose of a Relationship Manager is to help the client meet their objectives and needs. They must design plans to achieve these goals and create robust strategies. Relationship managers will be required to travel to meet with clients. They must also perform research to identify new potential clients. Relationship Managers may create presentations to inform potential or existing clients about our company’s products and services. They must ensure that clients are satisfied with the company at all times and will bring in repeated business by resolving any outstanding issues. They also need to inform the company of new contacts and marketing opportunities.

JOB CRITERIA

Relationship Managers should have a knowledge or experience working in the industry of finance or with a legal background. Relationship Managers should have strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as solid presentation skills. The ability to operate computer software, such as Microsoft Office, may also be helpful. In summary, you’ll typically need previous experience or knowledge to gain employment as a Relationship Manager, a professional who serves as a vital link between the company and its clients to help ensure client satisfaction is met.

SALARY INFORMATION

All our Relationship Managers are self-employed and work when it accommodates them and the business. This works well with parents looking for that work life balance or semi retired looking for additional income. As part of the agreement you are paid on each service you agree for the client or referral to our financial advisers. We also pay for all training at venues across the country (ideally near to your home) and you would be expected to attend around 6 to 10 of these each year.

Expected earnings per annum £11,000 – £60,000

Trusts are without doubt the most robust way to ensure that your wishes are respected and loved ones’ inheritance protected. However, whilst we are always confident that a Barrister Drafted Trust arranged by us would withstand a challenge from an organisation or someone that believes they are entitled to part of your estate, what we can’t do is prevent them from trying.

That is why we provide Law Card Assist membership as standard with all Trusts we have arranged.  Law Card Assist includes Legacy Protect, a unique protection that has been created by a Lloyds of London broker specifically for our Barristers and the clients.

The reason this is so important is because being able to defend a challenge will incur legal fees. Also, the person (Trustee) defending the Trust may be exposed to an ‘adverse costs order’ (having to pay the challenger’s legal fees) in the unlikely event that the defence is unsuccessful. This financial exposure can often result in the Trustee deciding not to defend the challenge.

Via Law Card membership, Legacy Protect is automatically attached to each Trust and is designed to provide a Trustee with the financial wherewithal to not only address the legal defence fees but also the exposure to the other side’s costs.

In the event of a challenge, an experienced Barrister would be instructed to launch the defence and the insurance gives the Trustee(s) the confidence to proceed without the fear of personal financial exposure.

Clients in receipt of our Trust deed automatically receive Law Card Assist membership for one year and have the choice to renew their membership and maintain the valuable Legacy protection annually for a modest fee. Currently £65 per annum.

Clients in receipt of our Trust deed automatically receive LawCard membership for one year and have the choice to renew their membership and maintain the Legal Expenses Insurance annually for a modest fee. Currently £60 per annum.
